We are releasing Mac Power Monitor version 1.1:
- Fixes a problem where the number of CPU clusters could not be determined on specific Mac models with the original M1 processor. This could cause the processor detail window not to open correctly.
- Fixes an inaccuracy with the sum readings for performance core and GPU core bandwidths on specific Mac models with Apple Silicon.
- Fixes a problem where the status of automatic update notification was not reflected correctly after the launch of the application.
Mac Power Monitor is a graphical, easy-to-use interface for the energy and power measuring features of macOS.

Apple releases new software via macOS Software Update:
- Apple Malware Removal Tool Configuration Data version 1.93 (Update Product ID: 012-04872)
- Apple Malware Removal Tool Configuration Data, for macOS Mojave, version 1.93 (Update Product ID: 012-04871)
- Apple XProtect Payloads version 67 (Update Product ID: 012-41952)
MRT and XProtect are part of the built-in antivirus software of macOS. The packages do not appear in the Software Update section of System Preferences. macOS is updating the software automatically in the background if you have granted the system permission to download system data files and security-related files.

The updates address product defects and security issues.

We are releasing Bresink Software Updater, version 1.5:
- Code modernization and small changes in the user interface.
- Adds a workaround for a layout issue with some versions of macOS where table columns could sometimes be clipped.
If you use many of our software products on your Mac, it can become tedious to keep all of them up-to-date. Bresink Software Updater facilitates the maintenance of our applications considerably. At a glance you can see if all programs are at their latest versions. You will be notified about available updates and can decide to either trigger the update procedure for a single product or for all of them automatically.

We are introducing the new application Mac Power Monitor:
Mac Power Monitor is a graphical, easy-to-use interface for the energy and power measuring features of macOS. A large number of statistical evaluations can be retrieved, such as a power overview, process statistics, data transfer bandwidths of hardware components, interrupt sources, interrupt distribution, processor core data, and much more. The data can either be recorded live at a rate of 1 measurement per second, or as a one-shot operation with any adjustable duration of 1 millisecond or higher.

Apple had temporarily released Safari Technology Preview version 149, but this version has also been withdrawn, as has version
148. The latest official preview version released via Apple software update is still 147 from June 21.
We are releasing TinkerTool System 7 version 7.89:
- Added new settings to remove the menu items for restart and shut down from the Apple menu. These preferences are part of the login screen settings.
- Added new features to work with stored sets of rights when changing permissions with the pane ACL Permissions. Users can now predefine permission settings for files or folders and reapply them later on different file system objects with a few mouse-clicks. Complex configurations with a high number of detailed Access Control Entries can now easily be transferred on the same computer.
- The user interface to automatically adapt volume exclusion settings after operating system updates on secondary volumes has been further optimized.

We are releasing Battery Monitor version 4.7 through the Mac App Store:
- Added new feature to visualize the differences between state of charge percentage of the battery cells and battery percentage shown by the operating system. This feature is available on operating systems and Macintosh models that make this distinction.
- Added new information sheet to explain possible differences between maximum capacity shown by Battery Monitor and battery status shown by System Preferences. This feature is available on operating systems and Macintosh models that make this distinction.
- Added new information sheet showing long-term statistics collected by the battery unit, e.g. maximum and minimum voltages, currents, temperatures or operating hours. This feature is available on Macintosh systems with battery units that perform this type of data recording.
- Auxiliary windows and information sheets can now also be opened directly via main menu or Dock menu.
- The new version tries to avoid flicker of some text output elements when the overview window is already open while the application is still starting up.
Battery Monitor is a powerful App to display the charge state of portable Macs in the Dock, to display internal battery information, to capture charge and discharge curves, to keep logs of the aging process of the battery, and to add notifications via Notification Center or speech output.

The package does not appear in the Software Update section of System Preferences (or App Store in older versions of the operating system). macOS is updating the software automatically in the background if you have granted the system permission to download system data files and security-related files.
July 2, 2022:
Apple has withdrawn the release of Safari Technology Preview version 148. The update was pulled and replaced
by version 147 again.
