Apple releases new software via macOS Software Update:

Whitelist for Macintosh firmware security checks (“EFICheck AllowList”), version 73 (Update Product ID: 041-94822)
Canon Laser Printer Software Update, version 2.1.1 (Update Product ID: 041-92741)

Security-related packages do not appear in the Software Update section of System Preferences (or App Store in older versions of the operating system). macOS is updating the software automatically in the background if you have granted the system permission to download system data files and security-related files.

Gatekeeper is part of the built-in antivirus software of macOS. The package does not appear in the Software Update section of System Preferences (or App Store in older versions of the operating system). macOS is updating the software automatically in the background if you have granted the system permission to download system data files and security-related files.

We are releasing Bresink Software Updater, version 1.1:

Added support for future versions of macOS.
Added support for self-updates of the updater.
Enhanced display of release information if a newly available package is only a build update, not a version update.
Fixed an issue where the Finder did not show the application name in expected spelling style, depending on the user’s language settings.

Added new “ID Finder” feature for user and group accounts. After entering either account name, full name, POSIX identifier or UUID, the application will find the three remaining other items.

August 8, 2019:
We are releasing Sync Checker version 3.2:

Added new feature to ignore time deviations of less than one second if desired when comparing the attributes of file system objects. This is necessary to get meaningful results when checking data between file systems that store time specifications with different precision.
Added new feature to show time specifications of file system objects in millisecond resolution when necessary. This feature is available in macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later.
The feature to ignore Time Machine attributes during a sync check has been extended to consider Access Control List permissions used by Time Machine as well. It is no longer necessary to disable all ACL checks when working with Time Machine files.
The list of Extended Attributes to ignore during a Time Machine-related check has been updated for the latest macOS versions.

Sync Checker is a diagnostic application which can compare two folders or disks, identifying all differences in contents and metadata.

Safari Technology Preview allows users to get a sneak peek at upcoming web technologies in macOS and experiment with these technologies in websites and extensions.

SafeView is an internal utility that macOS customers can use to share their screens via Internet with service representatives from Apple or AppleCare. It allows remote access for support purposes. This software is not available to the general public.

August 7, 2019:
We are releasing NFS Manager version 4.74. This is a maintenance release which only affects users of macOS Sierra and users testing beta releases of future operating system versions:

Added a workaround for a defect of macOS Sierra which could cause the application to quit while integrating the privileged component.
Added several temporary changes for future versions of macOS.

NFS Manager is an application to control the NFS features built into macOS via a comfortable graphical user interface. The application uses Apple’s technologies like Bonjour or Open Directory to make management as easy as possible. When using directory services, NFS Manager can configure NFS features not only for a single computer but for a whole network of thousands of Macintosh systems, with a few mouse clicks only.

August 5, 2019:
We are releasing TinkerTool version 7.41:

Added support for recent changes in beta versions of macOS. Users with officially published versions of macOS Mojave don't need this update.

TinkerTool is an application that gives you access to additional preference settings Apple has built into macOS. This allows to activate hidden features in the operating system and in some of the applications delivered with the system.
