- Switch to the tab item Settings in the main window of Backup Server Control.
- Make sure that the option File Sharing: Share files and folder using… is checked.
- Use the Finder to create an empty folder which should be used to store the Time Machine backups. Make sure that there is one user account with write permissions for this folder. This account will be used by the other Macs to log into the server.
- Press the button + below the table Backup Destinations and choose the folder created in (3).
- When the option sheet is shown, choose whether there should be a maximum limit for the storage space that should become valid for each of the computers that use this backup destination.
