How can I compare the contents of two folders?

Perform the following steps to check if two folders or disk volumes are perfectly synchronized, storing exactly the same contents:

1. Drag the first folder into the upper field of the Sync Checker control window.
2. Drag the second folder into the lower field of the Sync Checker control window.
3. Use the two pop-up buttons in the window to choose whether files that keep view settings of the Finder should be omitted during the check, and how meticulously the degree of match should be tested.
4. Click the button Run Sync Check and wait until the compare operation is completed.
5. The result will be shown in a new document window. You can review, save, or print the results.
