At a glance you can see if all programs are at their latest versions. You will be notified about available updates and can decide to either trigger the update procedure for a single product or for all of them automatically. All necessary steps, such as the download, the security check, and copying the programs to their usual places on your computer will be performed automatically in no time. In most cases, a single mouse click will be sufficient and you won’t have to intervene any further.
Apps from the Mac App Store can and must only be updated by Apple. Bresink Software Updater correctly differentiates between Apps and unrestricted software products. If you like to update not only our fully equipped software, but also our Apps, ensure that you have activated the related feature of macOS. This will affect Apps of all vendors.
The option for automatically updating Apps from the Mac App Store can be found in macOS at System Settings > General > Automatic update > i > Install application updates from the App Store, in older operating system versions (prior to macOS 13 Ventura) at System Preferences > Software Update > Advanced… > Install app updates from the App Store.
To use Bresink Software Updater, you’ll need a computer which has the operating system macOS 11 Big Sur or any later version of macOS installed.
Versions for older operating systems (macOS 10.12 or later) are still available for download.
Bresink Software Updater is constantly evolving, adapting to new features in the latest versions of macOS. New versions are released as free updates from time to time. To check manually if a new version of Bresink Software Updater is available for download, select the menu item Bresink Software Updater > Check for updates. In addition, checks are performed automatically in regular intervals when you are launching the application.
